About
Jeremy is a lawyer with The Acacia Group working in the areas of corporate and human rights law, and Supreme Court advocacy. Jeremy brings a breadth of experience from a wide variety of areas of law and has a consistent track record of diligently advocating for his clients.
Jeremy completed a Bachelor of Business Administration with a minor in French Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University. During his undergraduate degree, he spent a year studying at Neoma Business School in Rouen, France through the Laurier Exchange Program. His studies abroad continued during his law degree where he graduated from the University of Birmingham’s Bachelor of Laws program with a first-class honours degree. He was called to the Ontario Bar in March of 2022.
After completing his articles in family and criminal law, Jeremy joined a law firm in Ottawa specializing in civil litigation and family law. Motivated by improving access to justice, he joined an organization in Montreal wherein he supported clients across Canada on a diverse set of matters, including employment law, professional law, corporate law, and civil matters. Jeremy focuses on a client-centric approach, ensuring that he gets to the heart of clients’ needs and provides them with strategic advice to make an informed decision.
Social and community development causes have always been important for Jeremy. Prior to attending law school, he was a community volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters. During his legal studies, he was a coordinator with the University of Birmingham’s Freedom Law Clinic, supporting wrongfully convicted individuals with appeals from convictions. Since 2022, Jeremy has been a board member of Catholic Action Montreal – a charity that helps find community-based solutions to unmet service needs in the greater Montreal area.
