About

Benjamin Debney is a licensed paralegal at The Acacia Group, where he is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality legal services and outstanding client support. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Law from Carleton University, where he developed a strong interest in advocacy and helping others navigate complex legal challenges. Motivated by a desire to make legal services more accessible and affordable, Benjamin went on to complete the Paralegal Program at Algonquin College.

Before joining The Acacia Group, Benjamin worked at a national law firm specializing in workers’ compensation claims. In that role, he managed hundreds of claims for clients across Canada, offering detail-oriented support and clear communication to employers, employees, and workers’ compensation boards alike. He strongly believes that everyone deserves fair, timely, and respectful resolution of their insurance matters—no matter their situation.

Community involvement has always been important to Benjamin. During his time at Carleton University, he volunteered with the Terry Fox Run and participated in an annual toy drive for children at CHEO Hospital. He continues to look for ways to give back through advocacy and by helping clients find accessible paths to justice.

At The Acacia Group, Benjamin primarily supports clients in family law and civil litigation matters, bringing empathy, professionalism, and dedication to every case he handles.
