Kieran Sweetman

About

Kieran Sweetman is a law student at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law in Toronto and currently works with The Acacia Group. He is passionate about charity law and is committed to shaping legal frameworks that empower nonprofit organizations and social enterprises to thrive.

Kieran serves as President of the Christian Legal Fellowship chapter at Lincoln Alexander, where he leads conversations at the intersection of faith and law, promotes ethical advocacy, and fosters community engagement.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Tyndale University, where he was actively involved in student leadership and governance. His experience in mentorship and campus leadership helped develop his skills in critical thinking, ethical decision-making, and advocacy—qualities that continue to inform his legal practice and community involvement.

During his legal studies, Kieran worked in the law school’s Career Development Office, supporting fellow students as they navigated their career paths and connected with professional opportunities. This experience deepened his dedication to mentorship and legal education.

Outside of his academic and professional pursuits, Kieran actively volunteers his time at his local church, contributing to various ministries and community outreach initiatives. His involvement reflects a deep commitment to service, faith, and fostering strong, supportive communities.
